November 25, 2014 Millionaire Fact of the Day

November 25, 2014 Fact of the Day:  Is Video something Advisors should Leverage?

Did you know that almost 40 percent of Millionaires watch videos on financial websites?

While reading articles remains the preferred way of finding information, with 83 percent of Millionaires indicating this is the way they most commonly retrieve financial information...more individuals are watching the videos on various financial websites?  Why is this important?

-It's always good to sometimes emulate the practices of successful people.  It's likely that Millionaires often watch snippets of famous investment professionals or individuals that have been successful.  Sometimes it may just be something that catches their attention...or someone they admire like Mark Cuban or Warren Buffett.  Many people learn more effectively by hearing information than this may be a more efficient way for some individuals to educate themselves.

-Secondly...having video available can highlight whether a firm is "up-to-date" and willing to keep up with the demands of a changing population.  Investment firms that don't have videos may be too stuck in the past...maybe that might impact their future investment success.
