March 6, 2015 Millionaire Fact of the Day

March 6, 2015 Fact of the Day:  Majority of Millionaires Invest in This?

DID YOU KNOW THAT…..67 percent of Millionaires own Individuals US stocks and that 68 percent own US stock mutual funds.

Why is this important?  These investments make up a sizeable portion of the portfolios of these households, and, with the stock market performing strongly in the last few months, these households are feeling positively about the future.

The average Millionaire household has $255,000 invested in individuals stocks and about $268,000 invested in mutual funds.

About 41 percent of investors indicate that their financial advisor is primarily responsible for managing their stock mutual funds but only 26 percent indicate that their manager is responsible for primarily investing their individual stocks.  This may be because they own company stock, or if they have some preferences on their own that they are investing in.

How are you investing?  Do you need help with your equity choices? Or your mutual funds?  Check out our Best Advisors….
