Poor Prince George—He’s Not a Peter, Michael or David

Will the royal baby's name limit his earning potential?

What’s in a name? George Alexander Louis is fit for a king, but has Britain’s newborn prince and future monarch born yesterday to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge been saddled with a moniker that could limit his earning potential? According to Wealth-X, the world’s top ultra wealthy boy’s names are Peter, Michael and David. Had the royal baby been christened with one of these names, he would have automatically gained nearly 600 ultra wealthy namesakes, equivalent to 5.2 percent of Europe’s UHNW males. Over 2 percent of Europe’s ultra rich men are named Peter. There are 192 UHNW Michaels and 159 UHNW Davids. Round out the top five of ultra wealthy boy's names are John and Thomas.Don’t feel too sorry for George Alexander Louis, though. He’ll probably do okay.
