October 22, 2014 Fact of the Day:  When do $25 Million Plus Investors introduce Children to their Financial Advisor?



Did you know that wealthy households, those with more than $25 Million of net worth, believe that age 18 and over is the best time to introduce their children to their financial advisors?

They are not concerned about the age of the advisor….but they do want to make sure that their children are able to understand the importance of the conversations they may be having with the financial advisor.

More than 60 percent of wealthy households under the age of 55 are worried about how their advisor will be able to develop a relationship with their children because of mobile technology and social media.  How do they recommend that advisors should establish these relationships?

More than half believe face-to-face meetings are the best and 48 percent are interested in a financial component to these meetings.  38 percent think the children should have a financial plan created just for them.
