Heather's Couture Corner - Summer Neutrals

| BY Heather Kiely

Now, you know that I love a pop of color, and usually I am running around in a bright outfit. However, having basic neutrals in your closet are the staples of your wardrobe. I put together some great summer neutrals that will take you from year to year and are great investments.

I start with the white jean and even found you one that repels stains!!! That's right! Joe's "Annie" Skinny jean repels liquids that we spill everyday: such as, coffee, tea, soda, and wine. The perfect pant for all summer long can be purchased at joesjeans.com. for $179.

The next essential that you can not live without is the neutral beige light jacket. Throw it on for the cool nights when you're out on the town. I just love the Burberry quilted coat with the plaid detail. It is the perfect weight for a 60 degree evening and is simple enough to match any of your outfits. The Burberry Brit "Copford" Coat can be purchased at Bloomingdales.com for $595. Call your local Bloomingdales and ask to sign up to be called when they do their 20% off Burberry event.

The last essential every girl needs is a pair of nude flats. I paired my outfit with Tory Burch nude ballet flats. I also love the Tory Burch "Miller" sandal in nude or cream. Both can be purchased at NeimanMarcus.com for $195-$225.

So to keep summer easy breezy, grab some summer neutrals to carry through the summer to pair easily with a your favorite summer trends. I'm Heather Kiely reminding you to keep your investments where you can see them; in your closet, of course!!!
