Heather's Couture Corner - Destination Maternity, The Search for the Perfect Jeans

| BY Heather Kiely

This last weekend, I headed out to Destination Maternity at Old Orchard Mall-Illinois to get a pair of AG Maternity Jeans. The old rubber band and belly band were just not doing the job any more of holding up my regular JCrew Jeans. My girlfriends who are due around the same time as me, one with a singleton and one with twins, raved about these amazing jeans. My friend, Jenna, said, "They are like pajama pants! I could nap in them."

I decided I needed a pair! So knowing they were $210, I went online to see if there was any promo code or special for Destination Maternity. I found one! I got $75 off my jeans!!! The promo was $100 off $400 and $75 off $250. I was not quite at $250, so I also got an amazing pair of Splendid black maternity leggings ($90). I loved the way the AG Jeans fit immediately! They was so flattering and stylish; yet like Jenna said, so comfy!!!!!

I would recommend them to any lady who is pregnant and looking for the perfect jean to carry her through the entire pregnancy. I have four months to go, so I will be getting much use out of use out of these babies! I wanted to put together a chic look to inspire you today, so I paired up my new AG Jeans with a bright colbolt sheer top from Francesca's. Not maternity; however, it still flows enough to still fit at almost 6 months.

I then grabbed another staple from Francesca's which is this amazing statement necklace in different accent blues. I just love Francesca's for their jewelry! I am always able to pull an outfit together with one of their pieces! I topped off my look with my fringe Joie boots ( and my navy Chanel flap bag (Chicago- Neiman Marcus). It is the perfect Fall look to inspire you!
